Intro to Knitting (2 sessions)

Intro to Knitting
(Scheduled by appointment on most days.)
Learn casting on, the basic knit and purl stitches, finishing including binding off and weaving in ends. Learn about stitch patterns made from the basic stitches, and how to read a written pattern.

Class lasts 1.5-2 hours, 2 sessions. No prior experience is required. $35 plus materials.
Registration 2 days in advance is preferred and strongly recommended. Limited to no more than 4 students per class, unless prior arrangements are made.

Materials Needed (Available at Yarn Charm, we can help with selection):
• 1 ball of brightly colored worsted-weight yarn, wool or wool-blend recommended.
• Set of knitting needles, Size US 7 or US 8, wood or bamboo recommended.
• Tapestry needle for weaving in yarn ends (optional.)
• Scissors (optional, some will be available.)
