Simple lace patterns are used to create these lovely washcloth and soap sack sets. The soap sacks are knit in the round and hug soaps of various sizes. They can be tied with a twisted cord or satin ribbon.

Finished Sizes:

Soap Sacks, folded: 3" x 5" (8 x 13 cm).
Old Shale Lace washcloth: 9" (23 cm) in diameter.
Ribbon Lace & Leaf Lace washcloths: 7" x 10" (18 x 25 cm).

Yarn Requirements: Approx 125 yards (114m) of fingering weight cotton for each set.

Needles: US size 4 (3.5mm) for all pieces.
Ribbon Lace and Leaf Lace washcloths use straight needles.
Old Shale washcloth requires a set of double pointed needles and a 16" circular needle.
Soap Sacks require double pointed needles or use a 32" or 40" circular and the Magic Loop method.

Gauge: 24 sts = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch.
